Career in
marketing research began in 1985 as the Business Project Director
at Fleischman Field Research for B2B, high0tech and medical
studies. Gained extensive experience moderating in-depth
interviews with C-Level executives and medical
professionals.

Research/Field Director for DDMH Worldwide, a marketing
research firm in San Francisco. Responsible for all field aspects
and development of qualitative research reports for consumer
research, product packaging, etc., for consumer product companies
such as Unilverver, Chesebrough-Ponds, Levi Strauss, Elizabeth
Arden, etc.

In the late
1990's Susan began focusing on product and Web usability. She
helped create the user experience group (UEG) at Socratic
Technologies, an interactive marketing research firm based in San
Francisco, when "UI Testing Research" was an emerging methodology.
She pioneered in developing early UI practices by applying a
hybrid of qualitative and usability research methods.

Assisted in
the early development of a proprietary, portable Usability Lab,
used to test Web sites in worldwide markets.

International Experience: has conducted many focus
groups and usability research for Fortune 500 companies such as,
Nokia, Cisco, IBM, in multiple countries worldwide, including
Japan, China, Germany, UK, Italy, Holland, and
Singapore.
